"Eat Maid Rite Eats" so says the iconic red and white sign of the Maid Rite...classic diner fare...nothing fancy here...loose meat (Maid Rites) sandwiches are their signature but you can get breakfast before 11 - sandwiches anytime...home made soup, chili, cookies, pies as well as daily specials like chicken and biscuits or hot beef sandwiches...about 20 seats around the counter, no tables or booths...Cedar Falls Maid Rite..."Where the Elite Meet to Eat!"

Great Iowa tradition. Price-point is a bit high considering the amount of food you get, but worth it nonetheless.

Lunch was great! Topped with a piece of peach glaze pie! Can't beat it! I'll be back!

I don't get to eat here very often. I was a little disappointed that the shakes got a lot smaller. The maidrite seems to be saltier too.

The Cedar Falls, Iowa MAID-RITE is not only rocking out their famous sandwich, they are making made from scratch PIES every day!! I had three slices! Coconut Cream, Fresh Strawberry and for nostalgia Rhubarb! All three were amazing! From the perfect flaky crust to the filling, so tasty! This location has been open for the last 77 years and owned by the same Family for the last 44 years!! Had a wonderful time with the Owner Penne and her staff, but also with My Mom, My Sister and her Family and my Best Friend Drew and his Wife Angela! Miss you all already! Overrated staff was very friendly

Great food and great service. This place is a hidden gem in Cedar Falls. Wonderful staff and super delicious food. The food is always fresh and the place is very clean. I live the old diner feel to this place. Absolute recommend coming here. Don't miss out on one of the best places to eat in IOWA.

Needed a quick bite before a meeting. Only had a beef sandwich - it was good. Very unique place with seating at the lunch counter only. No tables inside. I would like to visit another location with more menu options.

Amazing rustic place

These are the best maidrites ever! I have been eating in this restaurant since I was a kid and they are made the same way even today. The way they steam the maidrites is the key. The food is amazing!! Happy to have this local restaurant in town and it's only 5 minutes away from me.
